New Year Greetings Colleagues !
I received this information from Annie Day if anyone is interested in attending her Waterless Lithography Workshop in Florence 21 Sept - 6 Oct 2010 : "Have you ever thought about attending a printmaking workshop in Italy at a world famous studio?

The first Saturday of every month I have a full day class using traditional French etching techniques in a contemporary way. The class size is four people maximum so it's like having your own personal technician!
For a group of four people I can organise a class with you in lino printing, monoprinting or etching.

Unique state project first round offers

All first round offers have now been sent out for the Unique State Project 2009 - 2011. The project involves 20 artists making 40 x A4 panel works which will be split up and made into 40 x A4 portfolio. Each of the 20 artists will receive a portfolio and 20 donation sample portfolios will be sent out to major print collection in Australia, UK and USA early 2011. The second part of the project is each artist has been asked to photograph or scan the 40 works they make as a recording of a larger 40 panel work as one unit for each artist to make up out of their 40 A4 work. A cd rom of the 20 artists complete 40 panel works will be sent out with each portfolio. Artists have been asked to make a second work for exhibition or selling reasons. Second round offers will go out from the 16th of November 2009. Completion date of the project is the 1st Feb 2011. Many thanks to all the interested artists on this project. |

20th year Portfolio,40 Unique State Portfolios, A4 size

Partners in Print will be organising a Unique state portfolio for around 20 artist in 2010-2011 for their 20th year. The first round offers will be selected artists However Michael Florrimell is interested in any new artists making unique state print media work to contact him with examples of their work and a cv.
The portfolio works will be A4 in Size, each artist will need to produce 40 works which will be collated by P and P with 20 portfolios returned to the artists and the other 20 portfolios donated to state Library's, Regional Galleries and state Galleries. 2 portfolios will be donated to USA and UK print collections.
Contracts will not be sent until late October to first round artists who will have 2 weeks to reply. The 2nd round offers will be sent out.
No fees will Apply to selected artists. |
