Groovy images and sound a pop star film clip. Loved it Yep moneys a sin but everyone is scrambling for it. I would rather see pop star clips like this though than the stuff churned out from America maybe its time Australia started show some of the clips we make here by our artists. . -Michael Florrimell Reply

Yep Humans what do you do with them, they just don't learn do they. Well don't worry its like the frog in the boiling water he does not jump out until its to late. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
I like the simplicity and childlike, teaching type approach in this art work to get the message across clearly. This has been achieved here. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Of we go marching into the darkness with our blind folds on. Where we end up know one knows. . -Richy Rich Reply
Richy, I have a blind friend and I know that his guide dog knows exactly where to go. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Well maybe dogs are a lot smarter than humans. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
Michael, it's the 'PURPLE CATS' to watch for, not the 'PINK DOGS'. . -Michael Zschech Reply
The idea of reproduction on a large scale can be scary but maybe it could be good in Australia. Maybe we should give all the refugees in Womara a free ticket in as most of us already here came in as refugees. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
Michael, true! . -Michael Zschech Reply
Its a national discrace that refuggees are not cared for in the same way every other Australian is. That is straight of the hell boats that get them here. Austrlains should have more compassion. . -John Ackton Reply
Learn to spell Mick . -George Boldness Reply
George, my practical suggestion is for this website team to put a spell-check on all comments. As really we are all writing directly in first draft form. I hate being exposed for my spelling, but on the other hand I love seeing and reading first drafts, as they show our humanity. . -Michael Zschech Reply

Yes something wicked does come this way. Kind of like a scary movie. . -Michael Florrmell Reply
Great use of line, tone and texture. Nothing like personal marks made with a human hand. Free and uninhibited expression. . -Michael Zschech Reply
The scary hand of Yolanda M is winding its way to your house. But not this year, hopefully she will be back with us in 2003. To scare the hell out of you all with her magic etchings. . -Susan West Reply
Susan, I can't wait. I want the "hell" scared right out of me now. What will I do. . -Michael Zschech Reply

really loved the techniques used to make this straightforward image have a unsettled and sinister energy. . -gerard morrissey Reply
A most evocative print. And check out Paula's excellent installation at Sydney College of the Arts at present. . -Paul Somerset Reply
Burry boundry rider something wicked comes this way riding their baby. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
"Oh Baby, Don't Call Me Babe!" . -Michael Zschech Reply
Whos baby, or is this a woman and a doll, or a woman and a man rapped in bandages. . -Susan West Reply
Susan, keep asking questions. I want to know also. . -Michael Zschech Reply

A long look at the unsual world of Uncle Gerard. Full of interesting loops and effects. Images of the dark side of London town no doubt. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
I am looking forward to learning more about the technical skills which are required to create this art work. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Stick a video camera on yourself and use some effects then burn a cd. Technology is there to be used and its getting cheaper by the day. . -Richy Rich Reply
Richy, thank you. Whom do I contact to learn the skills of "effects" and "burning"? I think this sounds like progressive/innovative/original artist/printmaking "FUN". As for putting the video on myself, I see myself as a grain of sand on Bondi Beach and would prefer to video the rough diamonds in the river beds of gravel. . -Michael Zschech Reply
The video camera will become the mirror of the future. Switch of the news as that is only a properganda image of the world. Examine yourself before others. . -Richy Rich Reply
Richy, you are speaking to me as a personal prophet. I am under obsessional bondage, to watching world news since the 11th Sept. I want to know what's going to happen next. How do I stop this obsession? . -Michael Zschech Reply

Rich in texture and ink. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
Very minimalistic and subtle. Reminds me of Max Miller's early work. Do more. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Yep very minimal kind of like the work in America in the 1960s. The trouble with minimalizim is that it looks good on a wall of an art gallery but thats about it. Oh maybe a coffee table book on how great the 1960s were. I say were lest we forget, real fast. . -Richy Rich Reply
Were the 1960's great? No ANZAC type memorials for the 1960s. One "lest we forget" is enough per year. . -Michael Zschech Reply

really love the effervesent chaos energy here-not easy to pull off in print-those thiwanese artists obviously know there stuff! . -gerard morrissey Reply
That's Thai Gerard you austrian. But I aggree they really add some class to the portfolios. . -Paul Somerset Reply
Oh get it right Hell knows nothing like a sinner great printing heavy imaging. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
Hell does exist, right here on earth. The challenge is to escape/avoid and "R.I.P" in Heaven. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Hell does not exsit in the word hell, im sure if we looked up the word hell in other laugages then it would be another word and another meaning. . -Susan West Reply
Susan, that is another way of looking at things. I think I must of been having a personal "black hole" day, the day I wrote that last comment. Explain to me more. . -Michael Zschech Reply

another highly accomplished work using thick layers of inks to creat the unsettling view-and also from tailand, obviously have a highly developed sence of form and colour teamed with high print standards-standout!! . -gerard morrissey Reply
Love the gold leaf and the rainbow of colours. Never Knew silkscreen could be so cool . -Mr Jones Reply
Amazing work rich colours and gold leaf make this very complex work a gem. Would like to see more of your work Pongsiri Kiddee. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
It looks like you had fun creating this image. I would like my next Birthday Cake to look similar to this. . -Michael Zschech Reply
A birthday cake like this would be very rich in taste. Kind of like a rain bow cake. Yummmy. . -Susan West Reply
Susan, I'll send you a slice, care of PNP, sliced into 35 slices, one for each contributing artist. Would this be an acceptable medium? . -Michael Zschech Reply

Great CD Paul interactive for a start and unsually personal without being personal if you know what I mean. Great Story line. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
it was great to see an interactive piece which wasn't in-your-face-i found the device worked to make me move s-l-o-w-l-y through the piece and see diffrent viewpoints-but also with ambigious vision and performances. . -gerard morrissey Reply
Yay someone looked at it. And took some time and thought something. Thank you Gerard. I was trying to give a sense of the way trauma seems to ripple through generations and greatly influenced by the book 'Fugitive Peices' by Anne Michaels . -Paul Somerset Reply
Your title says it all. Fathers have a lot to be accountable for! . -Michael Zschech Reply
Yes that is from the bible. Which really does say a lot. I wonder if much of the emotional detachment that men are accused of has been passed on as a result of war trauma. . -Paul Somerset Reply
Paul, I would like to have a look at this CD. How do I go about this? As for the Bible, yes it does say a lot - about war. Trauma is a horrible thing to experience from any context. There are statistical graphs in existence showing the gender statistics of the people whom participated. . -Michael Zschech Reply
This CD is in The Collection of NSW Gally print room at the moment. Ring up and make an appointment and im sure they will let you have a look. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
Michael, Will do. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Or I have some semi functional proofs about the place you can have. . -Paul Somerset Reply
Paul, thanks, I'm going to the NSW "YART" Gallery in the next couple of days to get a greater understanding of your work. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Many people seem to think the piece is autiobiographical. It is not, it is totally fiction. The only truth in it is many of my families houses were bulldozed. . -Paul Somerset Reply
Paul, explain more. . -Michael Zschech Reply
In 1974 Turkey occupied the northern part of Cyprus, just one of many conflicts that happen all the time all over the world I suppose. The town that my grandparents had migrated from 18 years earlier was in the border area and was bulldozed by the Turkish army. Family that were still there became refugees, some migrated here. Like all conflicts the reasons are complex and international support pragmatic. You might see a 15 seconds on the news but the affect on the lives of the people involved is massive. . -Paul Somerset Reply
Paul , thankyou for explaining it more factually to me. I went to the NSW YART Gallery to view your work but all the 'blue eyes' I spoke to could not assist me. So I will try again by phoning up prior to walking in. So much for easy public access and participation. Will get back to you. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Yo Michael the portfolio you wish to see is still awaiting acceptance into the print room NSW Gallery. Sorry we have just been informed , but if you ask for Anne she may be able to help you. . -Michael Florrimell Reply
Yo, thanks Michael. . -Michael Zschech Reply
Paul, I'll get one of those semi-functional proofs from you so I can move faster with this. How? . -Michael Zschech Reply
Paul, It has been pointed out to me - "Hey!! why don't you send a message to the artist - see where it says you can do that, click on that!" . -Michael Zschech Reply
