Michael Florrimell wrote - 8/15/2008 Hey Great work Jason I am putting together work of the size 56 x 76 cm one off prints unique state for a traveling solander box in 2009. Would like to see a work from the states in it and as I think this was a won of my fav's for 2007 would like you to send one next year. I like the idea of looking at your work and thinking its silkscreen and then relising it had elements of woodcut in it is that right? Reply

Michael Zschech added on 24/9/08 Then having said the above comment. Don't things change very quickly? Wall Street meltdown, but what about Main Street. Some have said it's the beginning of the end of capitalism as we know it. Must be difficult for those whom have never done a 'socialistic' job in there lives. But that's what 'karma' is all about and for the evangelical, prosperity Christians, 'what you so you reap'. Then what about yin and yang? Reply Michael Florrimell added on 25/9/08 Interesting just before the election in the USA the issue of a out of control market comes into debate between the two party's. More hype for the griss mill if you ask me. Cut the buyers a break and settle the deal so we can all get some sleep. Or you could try running a non profit organisation like Exchange Partners in Print media for 20 years. Non profit the way to go, hey go green at the same time its also cheap if you do it right. Reply Ben Dover added on 11/10/08 It's all going down, down, down. Gee, what an exciting time. I've heard that you can go on a tour down Wall Street to spot and photograph the 'jumpers' coming out of windows many floors up. Is this true? Reply

Michael Florrimell wrote - 8/15/2008 Hi Warren wonderful work. Really inventive and outstanding in orginality. The stamping effect is so effective. Hope to see you in the solander exchange in 2009. Reply
Michael Zschech wrote - 14/9/08 I value the simplicity of this work. It is not a diluted or weak print. Reply

Michael Florrimell added on 8/14/2008 Thanks Uncle this print is exactly about this concept. As an artist I stand up and say no war the words are from a song entitled War from the 1970's. I would to thank all the 2007 artists for their efforts and brave hearts the portfolios were grand. I look forward to see works for the EPPM solander in 2009. A new out look but with the same message of stand up and be counted from all the EPPM crew. Reply
Michael Zschech wrote - 14/9/08 This print is powerful in effect. Historically the drummers led the rest or the army into battle. What an honor, the first one likely to be taken down! Another little bit of history repeating? Reply
Michael Florrimell added on 25/9/08 This drumming is for peace only I promise I am not leading anyone into battle. Like the tilte of the song war what is it good for nothing thats for sure. My drumming is leading our members into printmaking bliss. I just brought a new Pearl drum it has a great jazz sound even though it was designed by a heavy metal drummer. 13 x 6 1/2 inchs. I always though heavy metal 2000 style was the new jazz hahaha. Reply
