This work of Jodis was exhibited in the silkcut award in 2002. The backing paper was a kozo rice paper, and the birds were printed with transpentink and pearl dust. They were then all individually hand cut and arranged on the rice paper. This print demonstrates subtle explorations in furthering relief printing. Cool

Jodi Heffernan has been a strong supporter of EPNP since 1992 when she first participated in our second portfolio Melbourne Sydney Exchange
Jodies work revolves around space land scapes and inhabitants of space etc.
This work was in the 1999 portfolio and is centred around photographic memory with updated illustration of illustions from the Australian Bush
Reality's are twisted into strange dream like images from now and then, past and present, somewhere between digital photography and drawing we might
one day relocate these images back into somewhere else.

Yes I like the work too MF and I have soft spot for sepia and tans and browns and like the way it's been used by
Jody here. I was tempted to say re other comments how
almost poetic you can be. But here you speak convincingly
in another voice. That is the irony of created things-
we humans can seem to argue or move them almost
anywhere. It probably behoves us to occasionally humble ourselves to think as if we are part of bigger things.
