Great reminds me of Picassos Gernicar. And thats not a bad thing to be remind of now and again. WAR WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR NOTHING OF COURSE.

I live near the sea, and the sea birds, fish and other creatures that inhabit the area are a constant source of interest and vitality. I then take from the world around me and create my own reality. The title is merely a handle to hang the print on.

One week in the history of guernica did indeed provide inspiration for a war painting for picasso...the rest of the last thousand years it has been a quiet fishing village. Art in peacetime=fish.

In the middle of a day when giants and elves no longer haunt my thoughts
I tell myself I'd follow Guinevere and her ladies to the absolute ends of the earth....even as far as the River of Tyne..watching the wind weave thru the feathered plumes and rippling on
the waves...I wonder what sense of loss and urgency my fair Lady feels...and would she sing or tell about it if she knew we were nothing as to her,not even courtiers who would stop our ears
